This weekend Emilie's parents are coming over from luxembourg to visit. I like them :) although they scare me quite a bit. But hey ho :)
It's good times because it means that emilie gets to see her parents for a change, this doesnt happen very often outside of olidays, which to be fair is true for me too, but thats choice rather than a georphical difficulty. Anyway, it's good she'll get to see them. It's also good because for one week im going to get fed especially well at their expense and emilie an i will get access to the spa at the Apex hotel which i know from experience, is worth taking any day :D
My mum and step dad are coming up from glasgow on friday night to have dinner with us and emilies parents. Im a bit affraid about this to be honest. Mainly because of my step dad, he has the annoying quality of not speaking french very well but thinking he does, and then not fully appreciating when he is not being understood fully and so getting annoyed at simple responses to his questions (many of which are just plain inapropriate) At leaste dinners gonna taste fantastic, we're going to Table Table, which i know is great so good times :D neil is back in hospital for another opperation on friday though, which is a shame for him obviously, but it would have been good to have him there at dinner, we can have some good banter when we're both in an awkward situation.
On saturday the plan at the moment stands as, myself, emilie and her family road tripping down to edinburgh for the day :) we're gonna visit edinburgh castle, with i have actually never done before. Then in the afternoon im buggering off to meet the family and watch the rugby at murrayfield which promises to be a very atmospheric occassion if not entirely victorious. then back up the road for work at 11, then a road trip north the next morning :) funsies.
The only ranting point at this stage is my mum. Because my brother isn't going to the rugby, we had a spare ticket, so i asked for it to offer to a friend, i did so. Now however mum has gone ahead and offered it to someone else saying she might need neils ticket back which is a pain in tghe ass, because ive already got Sian sorted and excited about coming to see the rugby.
Anyway, life is good at the moment so very few complaints :)
